    Ball Python Rescue #5 "Scraps"

Yay!!! I have rescued another ball python!!!
So here goes, My buddy Derek, was told by his friend Mike, who had this woman say, " I'm scared of this snake, my son is starving it to death, do you know anybody that will take it and care for it?" So I now own it!!!

So "Scraps" was so freak'n weak when I looked at "it" (sex undetermined), I wanted to cry, and punch the kid in the mouth!!! The snake I swear to you, was on it's last breath it seemed. If I had a mouse in my pocket I would have fed it to the snake in a heartbeat.

It was in a 5 gallon tank, no light, heat, water bowl!!! More poop and shed than bark. It was so wrapped up in a ball I thought it was already dead. The belly was so white, I've never seen such a white belly. Well guess what after 5 meals, the belly isn't that white, it has a cream colored belly. The whiteness was malnourishment!!!

"Scraps" finally tried constricting it's first meal after eating it's 5th small rat!

I have 4 other ball pythons that were in that shape, atleast they were able to constrict their meals. This poor lil one had lumps ll over it and I was like? As I ran my hand down the length of the body it was the internal organs that I was feeling,
