So I'm new here, and junk. Looks like this interface will make for some hilarious mistakes before I get the hang of all of these buttons. Seriously though, it's like a cockpit with all of these blinking lig--Oh, Hi there.

Well, I joined the site because I realized that it has been a pretty valuable resource for me over my last year or so of snake ownership. I have never frequented the forums or properly lurked, but a lot of my google searches about various issues have ended here and everyone seems very knowledgeable and accepting. My kind of people.

I recently took the plunge on my first colubrid who is a total brat completely deserving of the absurd name Corn-dog. I have a Ball python who I adopted from someone around a year ago, and I have a feeling my collection is just getting started.

I look forward to being a part of this community and getting/giving advice and ideas from all of you.

    Peace & love.

Welcome to BP.net! I'm sure you'll feel right at home here. Everybody that I have had the pleasure to talk to thus far has not only been friendly but extremely helpful in answering my questions.

Also, I couldn't help but laugh at the name Corn Dog. Awesome choice!

Thanks for the welcome! I noticed you have a "hotdog with four legs" as I used to call them (I should probably verify I mean the dachshund, since no one with a normal brain would know what I'm getting at).

He's a cute little guy, I would squeeeeeeze his little face.

Hello and welcome to BP.net I love this place- there is sooo much information. I started out with one lonely BP. Now I have two BPs, a Dumeril's Boa, a tarantula, and money down on two sand boas. I'm seriously thinking about a Hogg Island Boa too. We'll see.... They are kind of addicting! Anyways have fun figuring things out

Hahaha. Rusty is most definitely a hotdog with four legs. I've had him for over 15 years - I have no clue how he is still so hyper or even still alive (he gets into so much trouble). He's definitely my best friend since I grew up with him.

We even went as a pair of Oscar Meyer Wieners for Halloween once.
