    new england reptile expo

does anyone know if there will be a vendor selling heat tape or something else to help heat a rack i've tried using zoomed repti heat cable but it isn't getting warm enough to keep the tubs at the right temperature and i wasn't sure if i should order some online now or just wait 11 days.

If you're sure you want some, I'll ask my friends at Sabrina's Reptile Kingdom to bring some heat tape for you...what size are you looking for? I think they have the 3" and 11".

I'm wicked pumped for this show Indecisive between a 3rd BP (maybe slim pickings for 2011 at this point?), Crested Geckos, Dart Frogs, or I might just make the tank a small saltwater reef tank..

On topic: I'd be very surprised if someone wasn't selling it there... you can see the vendors attending here: http://www.reptileexpo.com/nevendor.htm and I believe I saw some selling it on their websites when I browsed.

I'm fairly sure that A+ Serpents sell 11" heat tape. I would try them first.
How much do you need? I'm not 100% sure but I think we still have some left from our last order. Just Pm me and i'll what we have. My friends vend there so I can send them with it if you can't find any.

Bear in mind that heat cable/tape can only do so much to heat an enclosure if your ambient temps are too low - they are intended to create a hot spot, and can get way to hot if you try to heat an entire tub/rack in, say, a 68 degree room.
