    Baytril side effects??

What do Baytril burns look like? How long does it take for them to heal?

I've been medicating a Super Pastel rescue who has a severe respiratory infection. I've been doing SQ/IM injections of Baytril. I've read a few times here that some snakes will get burns on the injection site. I noticed today that the injection site looks sort of puss-y. It's not inflamed or swollen. Just white colored and wet looking. But it's not wet to the touch. It's just shiny and looks like dried up glue (not left over shed).... I don't have any photos to show as the snake is housed elsewhere.

Have you tried Switching injection sites? Every Ri I've treated I exchanged sides every injection. I'll also move a bit up or down. I try not to use the same site repeatedly.

I personally would go back to the vet that is not normal at all. Snakes can get necrosis at an injection site, that is odd looking and certainly not right i think it would be worth having a vet check it.
