    super ball pythons (borneo blood pythons x ball python)

    Hi has anybody ever made a super ball? I hear it is harder than it sounds. Can somebody tell me how to make one. I want one badly!

    I went ahead and moved this thread to General Pythons, since it is just as much about the Blood as it is the Ball.

    BHB had one on this week's episode of SnakeBytes. Not sure if any of our own regular participants have pulled this off or not, though.

    I haven't done it but I have been told that putting in sheds/etc of the correct species will help entice them to breed... i.e. if you want to breed a male ball python to a female borneo, toss in some female ball python sheds and male blood python sheds into the cage, to help trick the snakes into thinking they are good mates for each other.

    My husband and I are actually going to try this, hopefully next season. We have a sumatran blood female and a regular ball male we want to try to breed. Ill post pics if it works out as planned. Thanks for the tips!
