    That's awesome. I recently picked up a alligator snapper just a little bigger. Such a fun animal to watch. Wish I had an albino haha

    Thanks! So far the only time he snaps is when he is eating. Its pretty cool to watch....maybe i'll try to make a video and post it on here....never done that before. As far as "docile"....i'm not sure any of them can ever get puppy dog tame, but with regular handling and socialization they become pretty tolerant of people. I still wouldn't put my finger near the mouth of a full grown one no matter how docile they were....lol.

    i love snappers. i usually end up with 1 or 2 a year that kids find and bring to me. i just let them go unless its late in the year then i keep them all winter and release in the spring. i wouls love an albino one someday. the last one i kept as a pet was puppy dog tame. i had him from out of the egg till about 4 inch length when i gave him to a friend. not sure how nice he is now but ill try and ask.
