    Shedding question.

Is it normal for a python to go really blue at the beginning of the shed and then lose that blue color right before the shed? This is Ava's 3rd shed...and on the first shed, she stayed prominently blue until the skin came off, but on the second and current shed she became just flat out blue for the first 3-4 days and now she is looking like she's already shed except for a slight blueish tint on the eye caps. I know she hasn't finished her shed, but is this normal? Last time I gave her a feeder the day before I found the skin in her hide...does she need to eat to finish the shed? Always wondered about that. Anyways, any help or explanation would be nice (the internet has failed me >.>).

Mine's coming out of her blue now, but she's definitely faded color. Surprisingly, she just ate while in shed...so I hope that stretching out of the jaw will make the process of skin removal easier. Unfortunately, she went to her cool side dry hide instead of the hot side moist one >
