Define Ringer.
I know what one looks like, but I have heard different people say that it is just an extremely low white pied, others say its a het pied, and still others say its a different morph of its own.
So what is it?

Those are some amazing looking animals. If you would be willing I would love to see your collection, I live in central Indiana.
Now if its a Pied x Het pied and you get a ringer then what is the genetics of it? Or would it just depend on the pattern. If it is a normal pattern then is it a Het Pied and if its a pattern of a pied then it would be a pied?

Ringers can appear on any ball, morph or not. Sometimes het pieds have them, a lot of non het pieds do as well.
A ringer is just a band of color, usually white, appearing on a ball somewhere. They can be tiny, almost invisible, or extreme to the point where most of the animal is white as in the case of Dave Greens champagnes. Those animals are outrageous, and not a pied gene in the bunch.

I've seen ringers appear in normals, cinnamons, pastels, mojaves, spiders, champagnes, fires, vanillas, pewters, savannahs, super cinnamons, black pastels, leopards, ghosts and pinstripes.

I am also in central Indiana and would love the opportunity to see some animals of that caliber in person.
