Need Opinions and ID Help Please
So i picked up this 'guy' for free today. Dont know sex, previous owner called it a He but ill pop and probe in a few days. Long story short,it was a pet to previous owner. She said she bought it as a 'morph' but didnt remember what kind cuz it didnt matter to her.. she just liked his pattern. She gave him to me because she doesnt like feeding him and her roomate is terrified of snakes. So i seriously lucked out here.
Before i picked it up today, the pics she sent me made me think fire...in person, im now thinking maybe vanilla. It has an insane light colored pattern,a clean belly(with het pied lookin tracks on the sides), high yellowish sides, a slightly faded head, and these weird tear drop looking markings under the eyes that trace to just behind the head.
Heres a pic of the tear drop, you can see it trace to just behing its head
I love this pic,and the hook it has on its back
Id love to hear lots of thoughts and opinions!

The lack of a head stamp turns me off from fire or vanilla, but the clearish belly is suspicious, honestly he looks like an attractive normal Congrats on the pickup.

I agree...Looks like an attractive normal to me as well. Could possibly be a het pied, but the markers aren't that strong and they are far from 100% accurate. Nice snake though.

Really? Thats all you guys are thinkin? The eyes are much too dark for Pastel. Even though i really dont think so,im open to the fact he may be just a het. I know hets can occasionally have off colors and patterns. At the same time though,i feel he just has too many characteristics that point away from normal.
I know all i can really do is breed him out,and i for sure plan to.
Anyways, more opinions would be appreciated. Ill try n take better pics asap. Its raining atm here in the sunshine state. Lol

I agree with a nice normal or a browned out pastel. I have a normal that looks similar to your snake, she has flames and high blushings and is very light in color, but at the end of the day she is still a normal. Keep in mind that normals can come in various patterns, shades and blushings.

Re: Need Opinions and ID Help Please
I'm not seeing pastel...browned out or otherwise. Definitely not yellow belly either. It looks like a really nice normal to me. Could be het for something and that seems like an easy thing for a casual pet owner to forget. Kinda hard to prove out when you don't know what it might be het for though.
Regardless, you got a really nice looking snake.

I agree, def not pastel or yb. I may have just ended up with a normal dinker. I hate not knowing this guy/girls lineage. Like you said, itll be hard to prove out if i dont know what im tryin for. Could take a few years i guess. Ill start with normals, and when i aquire hets ill try that next.
Keep your fingers crossed for me that He is a She. Thatll save me sum time for sure!
