    Aspen bedding users.

Where does everyone get their large bundles of Aspen bedding? Snake safe of coarse, been looking around and thought I would see what brands everyone else uses.

    Thanks

I just use the kiln-dried stuff from the pet store (not sure of the brand). I have never had a problem with it.

If you only have a few snakes and not a ton of space to store extra bedding, the best priced bedding is probably Tractor Supply. They carry the fluffy aspen(2.2 cu ft) for about $10-12.

If you can buy in bulk, go with the National pet Pharmacy link supplied in the above post. I'm getting mine from there, and it's a 4.4 cu ft compressed bale for about $11 I think. If you can set up a automatically shipped order of $50+, you get free shipping. I believe they'll let you set it up to ship to you every 2 months or maybe even every 6 months? That way you get free shipping and have plenty of bedding on hand.

Right now I order enough aspen for both my rats and the snakes, then add in the rodent feed, so it's easily over $50 and will be a monthly ship. Once a month, my supplies arrive for me, automatically. If I've judged correctly, I'll never run out, and never get overloaded with supplies.

You can change the auto-ship at any point too. Less in a order, more in a order, ship earlier, pause the shipping... whatever you need to do.

I go to Tractor Supply Co. here in Oklahoma. They carry a brand called Premier Pet. Its scent free, kiln dried natural bedding. You get a 2500 cu. In. block for like $8. Hope this helps.
