First shed (with me) Skin and Snake pics!

Well Lily had her first shed for me, and it seems to be a really good, one big piece shed. Unfortunately the piece around the tail got ripped alittle when i was unrolling it, (it was rolled up like a sleeve) but it has the jaw and eye caps all in it, and it was interesting that the pattern can be seen in it. Anyways first snake, first shed for me im pretty excited haha

    heres some pics!

    Skin/Jaw

    With the skin

    So clean!

    Another angle

    Little sister holding her

    Any thoughts or comments??

    Thanks for looking!

I've kept my good sheds too. I like to compare the size to the previous ones. My question is at what point does snake skin go from being interesting to creepy? How many should I keep before my husband's eye develops a permanent twitch?

I save any whole sheds. When I get a few good ones from the same morph or individual, I pick out the best one and give the others to friends' children and teachers as learning tools that they don't have to be afraid to let kids handle. That way, I know they're going to a "good cause" and don't feel like I'm just throwing them away!

Edit: And gorgeous baby you have there!

Doesnt she though?!? and a "trick" i used that my local reptile expert go to said to do was use a "shed box" basically i put moss on the hot side, and made it moist, and put a hide on it, the moisture from the moss caused basically a sauna effect, with 90+% humidity in it, and she must have known it was good for her because she went in and didnt come out until she was done shedding so i recommend using a shed box because so far im 1/1 on good sheds
