Well I got my first cresties a couple of weeks ago at the Manchester NH expo. I figure I'll post some pics of the new little ones. I am definitely a fan of these guy's and can see a new addiction forming... Lol Also right now they are in an extra large kritter keeper as they are just babies. I plan on upgrading them to a bigger enclosure when they get older. I recently won a 2x2x2 arboreal cage at an expo would this be ok for them? How many adults could be housed assuming they were all females or maybe one male? I understand they are probably better off alone but was looking to create a live viv display cage with them. Any info appreciated..

LOVE THEM!! From what I've gathered Pat, females can be kept in groups of 2 or more as long as there is plenty of space for them. Males should not be kept together, especially if there are females anywhere in your house. I think that enclosure you got would be good for 3-4 females or so. Congrats!! Love them

First off, congrats on the new addiction! They are truly an amazing species. For your question, you could easily keep two females in your new enclosure. I wouldn't keep anymore than 3 females in there. I also wouldn't recommend keeping a male in with your females. Some large breeders keep one male to four females, but I wouldn't feel comfortable doing so. Too many complications for myself being so inexperienced at this time, such as over-breeding and calcium deficiency.

When they become big enough, watching them eat insects is incredibly enjoyable.
