That actually isn't funny at all. Looking at the substrate that is captivity. Feeding any Ball Python to a King Cobra or ANYTHING in captivity is just cruel. You should actually be ashamed of yourself for posting this and thinking this is funny by any means. I hoping this thread gets deleted.

We know NOTHING of the particulars of the above picture. I can't for certain say this isn't a photoshop. Why on earth would someone choose to feed $400 snakes? Maybe it had died already - heck I don't know...
For that matter makes it ok to feed rats to a rodent eater but not snakes to a snake eater? What snakes would you feel would be acceptable food sources for snake eaters?

I'm pretty sure the story behind this is that the albino was actually dead from a birth defect. I know someone on facebook who posted this image as well, and there was a huge war over it there as well. He also posted pictures of monitors eating a pied retic that had died from defects as well(every white area was heavily kinked and it was unable to feed or live for long)
Still, this is a bit of a...rough image, considering this is a forum of snake lovers.... Specifically ball python lovers..

Im sure there's more to the story.
But given the right circumstances.....
I don't see a thing wrong with it

I'm going to play devil's advocate here..given our understanding of snakes and their behavior..What is so offensive about a king cobra eating what it would normally eat , another snake..regardless of it's species and or color?
Now given the reactions here..do you see why non-snake people get so up-set when we post feeding pics of our snakes eating rats or mice.

Waste not, want not.
Any way you slice it, this is nature. Whether it ate an albino ball, a normal ball, a kingsnake or a garter snake, something had to die to feed it. To me it is no different than feeding a rat to our balls or how I feed anoles and geckos to our Candoia carinatas.

Nothing wrong here at all. A lot of King owners actually Contact alot of snake breeders to send them babies that died from defects and so on frozen.
But were not here to judge someone for feeding even a live snake to a snake eater. Everything needs to eat, and if that person breeders balls to feed his passion WHO CARES.
