    Bulk F/T Rodents

I'm just about to the point where buying in bulk is going to make a whole lot of sense. What's everyone's favorite place to buy Frozen rodents in bulk, and why do you use them instead of others...?

Local pet stores...? Online services...? Raise them yourself...?

    Thanks in advance...

I found a breeder on craigslist that sells me f/t rats really cheap. Due to recent hardships with his collection though, I've had to either go through a local reptile shop (NOT a chain pet store) or pick up at expos. I'll be stocking up at the next expo on Sunday

Where do you live? There might very well be a breeder near you. I found a breeder near me that suppliers the zoos and the med. research college. I work near there so I get free delivery! Also, think about the shows. Vendors have bulk for sale there, save tons on shipping $$

Depends on where you are at... In the lousiana area or fairly close I would call Colby @ bushhill rodents, you will not find better quality. Since moving back to New Mexico I cant afford to have Colby ship to me, I have been ordering from rodent pro. If you are close to a big city alot of the times you can find a large rodent place close.. When I lived in texas Big Cheese was 2 hours away, and we occasionally got stuff from them when we were not going to see Colby for a few weeks.....BE AWARE BUYING FROZEN RODENTS, YOU BETTER BUY IN BULK TO MAKE SHIPPING WORTH WHILE

Around here (Evansville, Indiana) the guy with the best reputaion and cheapest prices is Jeff Hermann. He even supplies most of our local pet stores with their f/t.
Just start asking and looking around, I'm almost positive that there is a rodent breeder near you; I didn't know that there were that many herp people around me, until I became one!

+1 on Bushhill Rodents...Colby's product and packaging is excellent. He is at the shows in our area so I stock up then. When I have had to order I combined orders with some friends to make shipping worthwhile and order from Big Cheese. They are OK to...

Rodent Pro comes to my local reptile sale, so I buy frozen there.
