Many species of rat snake eat mainly non-rodent diets.
Spilotes for example, eat mainly frogs, lizards, other snakes, birds with the occasional mammal.

I know most garter species don't eat anything from the mamalia family. Their diets consist of fish, frogs, and other small amphibeans. I was lucky to get mine already taking pinks.

These guys are getting mice pinks/fuzzies til I can get an order from RodentPro for some Quail chicks. The guy we got them from was offering both and even offers his adults rats and quail. They had a better feeding response to the quail than to the mice when offered. I know there's a really good DIY garter grub recipe on here if you do some searching.
