    As their growth slows, dogs don't need the same calories as they did when they were still putting on height and muscle. Your dog is 2 years old and most likely he's hit that stage of his life.

    Doesn't hurt them to eat once a day when they're grown. And whatever time he prefers to eat is fine too.
