    hahah

I swear watching my young pastel zeus is like watching a small child. He always seems on the brink of falling off something or falling over.

My leos are worse. They'll try to escape from my hands and fall 4-5ft. I've just gotten good at grabbing them so they can't run while I move them.

My BP seems to think that my clothes will hold on to her. The few times I'm held her she insists on sliding off my pants. LOL

This is (the only reason) why I'm glad my new place has carpeting... my old apartment was all hardwoods, and leaving them on a bed/sofa/etc usually resulted in a loud THUMP within seconds - d'oh! They really aren't the sharpest tools in the shed, are they? The good part is that I've developed faster reflexes, from constantly having to "save" them from sliding off of something.

On a more serious note, this is why we don't recommend "climbing branches" for ball pythons... they're just too clumsy, not to mention heavy-bodied, and a long fall could result in an injury. My carpet python can navigate his branches with grace, but those BPs are not made for climbing!

One of my hatchlings is always checking out the lid of her tub. She slides up the sides and along the top of the lid, completely upside down. Eventually she leans so far backwards that she flops backwards, lol.
