    Solomon Island Tree Boa

My other pick up from havre de grace. These are absolutely fascinating animals. His head is so weirdly shaped compared to the other boas and BPs. He is a red phase. They change color at night like crested geckos do! He can be MUCH paler red then this but at night he turns almost black with red banding. STUNNING animal.

He is my first arboreal species and i would love to get into them further. They are a smaller boa and i look forward to getting him into a planted viv since hes small enough not to crush plants!. He may grow another 6 inches or so in length.

    He needs a name.

More pictures coming after he settles in.

Absolutely Mike and Colleen from Sideshow Exotics. He has a few other CBB solomons that I saw and we talked about them for quite some time. They want other people to work with them and I think i may end up picking up some more from them down the road a bit.
