    First time breader

OK... so I've decided to try and breed mice to feed my one ball python because we kind of live in the middle of 'nowhere' and it's a pain to get to the pet store all the time. I purchased 2 females and one male... I have two tanks. The male was with one female for the past 2 weeks with not much activity. I switched him just a day ago and think that they've bread already (I think I finally see a 'plug').

So begins the countdown. We shall see if I'm looking for the right signs or not...

Since I am looking to feed only one snake... I plan to move the male between the 2 females and letting him 'live' with whoever gets pregnant last. From what I've been reading this should be fine, but each animal is different. Does this sound right?

u can do that but how big is ur snake... id breed rats personally they dont smell as bad and eventually u r gonna have to switch the snake over to something larger... just my opinion.. id buy a trio of rats keep two females and male together and pull the females as they are pregnant. u feed f/t or live? if f.t u could mass produce different sizes and never be set for months,....
