OOO Look what Santa is Bringing me Early

So we got my adopted son a hatchling normal Ball Python for his birthday and well that is when the fighting over whos snake it really was started. So I have been asking nicely if I could get myself a snake as men will do. The wife has stated several times NO NO NO NO. So while looking at a very beautiful Patel this weekend my wife again said no then when we got to Petsmart she told me I was going to need another tanks for my new snake. I go all excited and was thinking we were going back to get the Pastel girl I had seen earlier. SO we went home and set up the new tank and ordered a t-stat ETC. Then I asked her if I could go put a deposite one the Pastel. She again said NO NO NO NO. Then told me my new snake would be here around the 19th because she still needs to eat a few more meals before she can be shipped. Then she showed me these pictures. Man I love that woman let me know what you guys think she said it was going to be my christmas present

I am also jealous. Congrats on the pick up. You know that your story is almost the same as MarkusJayne Ball Pythons, with a few differences. He got his kid one and then he had to have one, and one turned into many. Welcome to the addiction my friend.

    Very nice! Congratulations.

On a side note, I had a question - why did you refer to your son as you adopted son, rather than just your son? As an adoptee myself, that stood out to me, and it seemed odd to me.

Re: OOO Look what Santa is Bringing me Early

We just adopted our son and it is still kinda cool to him that he got adopted. He was reading over my shoulder and asked me to add the fact he was adopted.
He is a great kid and we love him a bunch so I figured if he wants me to call him my adopted son it wouldnt hurt. He call me dad and says he is my son if he doesnt think we are listening. So I figure this is prolly a phase and well it isnt that big of a deal to me.
