    New rats!

Hey all! Been rat busy lately. One of our Siamese girls is a Himi (just finished her last baby shed), picked up a dumbo Siamese male and a patchwork is dropping a litter in 5 days. Traded an x-large male for three small females today. Ended up with a fairly decent agouti (very little white markings), black variegated with blaze and a mystery girl. This girl has a distinct blue tint, berk belly and very dark ruby eyes. Her eyes can be mistaken for black easily.

My camera isn't the greatest so picking up her blue tint and dark eyes was difficult. In the first picture she appears much more orange than she is. Guesses?

Pretty sure your mystery girl is a fawn. She'll get more orange with molts. Please, someone correct me if I'm wrong. There are just SO many different colors for rats!
All of them are so cute!!

I'm thinking so. She may be a poor fawn from a blue tint agouti maybe? HMMM. Time will tell?

They have names now! Galaxy is the b/w, Canyon is our fawn/mystery and Mulch is the agouti.

Could be wrong, and others will chime in I'm sure, but she looks like a Cinnamon to me. Maybe with an additional modifier, but probably just a Cinnamon.

Looks like a fawn to me, cinnamon looks pretty similar to agouti.

Hopefully she'll go through a coat change soon so I can tell already! She has an awesome personality. I'm finding though that Galaxy is food aggressive.

SWEEET~! I received word from the folks I lent rats to and our double rex female is ready to pop and looking JUMBO! Were expecting more double rex, hopefully blues. Possible birth tomorrow around midnight. It took a while it but it looks like the Siamese is preggers too. Very happy for them. Their kids are all over in awe. It's so cute.
