Angry Can't find the right sized rats anywhere!

I'm searching like crazy trying to find Kalli some rats fuzzys or rat pups.
But I cant find them anywhere around here! The place I'm currently buying mice from has rats they're breeding ,but whenever they have babies, they are gone almost instantly after their born, so they have no time to become fuzzies or pups.
I don't want to just feed her mice all the time since I know she'll put more weight on with rats, and I want her to grow to a nice big size in a few years.
I've looked everywhere on the computer and stuff and there's only one place I can think of that has live baby rats and that place is probably 1 hour or more away from here one way, same time back, depending on traffic. No one wants to drive that far to get one baby rat.
There are no FTs the right sized around here either. I want to get her on live rats before switching to F/T.

Sorry this is more of a rant than a question, I just need to get it out of my system. It will be easier to switch her from mice to rats while she's still a baby, I just can't bloody find any around here.

You'd probably have better luck with feeding mice until she big enough to eat a small weanling rat and then switching over from there.

Tell me about it. All I have access to are hopper/small mice and small rats. So my ~3 month old spider gets 3-4 mice a week because no one has bigger mice or smaller rats.

Well, the smallest size rat I can find is I guess a small or med. rat....

I'm looking at that sight now, thanks Robie. :3 I just can't figure out how to set up a shipping and stuff like that and how much it would be total.
Also not sure if she'll take F/T right away... So we'll see. :3
Thanks though! That sight is useful!

I just pick mine up at the Avian Exotic Clininc in Kirkland no shipping ETC but I dont know how close that would be for you. You could also try Lane Labs I hear good things about them as well

I'm in Battle Ground, so south west WA I believe.
As in, I'm only about 20-30 minutes or more from Oregon, so I'm pretty far from any of the 'big cities' with all the stuff I need. XD
Not sure how far Kirkland is....
