Temperature question (new tank too hot) Airconditioned room ok?

Topic derived from this thread of mine:
    http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...ew-Rack./page2

My new tank has arrived and looks like I have to put my snakes migration on hold first. I may have made the tank too hot due to my design. You see here in the Philippines we normally have around 83f-85f during the day and at night we go down to 78-80. I monitored the temps of new tank for a couple of hours during the day yesterday (Aug 27), it seems I am at 90 almost all the time.

This would be too much right? Humidity is fine though. So I have moved the tank inside a room where the aircondition is always on, I will monitor the temps again, if temps go down to 85-87 the I will put the tank indoors instead of keeping them outdoors on my pateo.
Or would it be ok to keep them in 90 tanks 24/7 witht the right humidity?

As of now in an Airconditioned room, it went as low as 75f when I had the aircon on at full blast in 1 small room just to test how cold it could get. Moved it a general area of the house now it's is at about 78-79, and it's night time so that should be alright, I will check them temps again later, for daytime temps. If they go about 80-83 would that be alright to keep them in an Aircon area then as long as I can keep the right temps and humidity?

These are the vents of my tank, 5 holes on each glass side

If you can see, the gap also on the door and the frame leaves space for a lot of air.

It would be hard to add holes on the glass because everything has already been siliconed together. what do you suggest guys?

I don't see a problem with air conditioning. As long as all of the readings are okay. I would just watch for the ambient temperature and make sure that the humidity is still okay. Air conditioners like to take the humidity out of the air as well as cool it so as long the right conditions are there than its cool (pun)

Great then, I hope I get my temps right if not, my other solution would be to bore more holes on the front acrylic door as that is the only place I can still do it. Thanks for the quick response.

The only real concern I would have is night time temps dropping to much and you end up getting RI in your snakes. I think as long as you can keep it at least 80 deg at night you should be ok but you'll probably have to play around with it a little to see what happens. good luck

Checked the temps this morning it really goes down to below 80 at night. I think putting a UTH would just make it to warm as well.

Will 90F 24/7 with right humdity be too much for them?

I feel so stupid, 90f is our actual ambient temperature now here in the Philippines. My wife pointed it out to me. Well, most of the snakes of breeders here and other keepers are in the same temp as mine. So, tonight, I am migrating my snakes
