2 Skinny leos
Well i received 2 leos from a friend of mine who was moving to an apartment where he cant keep animals, so he gave me his 2 leos (about 4 years old). I've had them for about a week and began looking through some pictures of leos and realized these two little girls are underweight, one more so than the other. but aside from them being underweight they seem healthy, very active, drinking and walking fine. I was curious of a way to fatten them up some before their weight becomes a serious issue.

Have they eaten for you at all yet? What are you offering them for food?

Put some mealworms in a shallow dish with some gut-load. They will eat when they are hungry. Mine demolish the mealworms overnight.

Gut-loading is when you feed insects a diet rich in vitamins before you feed them to reptiles. I use http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...ductId=2753945 and just stick some in the dish with the mealworms.

Mealworms are ehh trust me, waxworms are the way to go, you can even hold a waxworm and a mealworm in your hand and clearly see which is more fatening, get them waxworms, also post some pics

Waxworms are more fatening than mealworms which is why they should be feed as a treat not a primary food source. They can easily get back up to proper weight just fine eating mealworms which would probably be better for them in the long run.

Depending on how under weight they are, feeding them the wax worms for a couple three weeks will be fine, I'd also offer them a pinkie if they'll take it.
