since we all know carpets prefer mice to rats more times than not..After they come out of the egg and they are ready for their first feeding ( after a few days to a week) if you make them wait longer than that, about two weeks or so and you give them a pinky rat instead of a pinky mouse would they automatically start taking rats from the jump because they are hungry and its the first thing EVER put in front of them? or would they starve themselves until they got a mouse?..
