    active BP

How active are your ball pythons? Just curious... Jackson seems to prefer staying in his hides for the majority of the time, but every now and then I catch him just wandering around his tank. I just saw him nosing the lid (very creative little guy with getting to the top, climbed up his log and a thermometer to get up there...) and was wondering how active they are in general. This is the first time since I've had him he's been quite so adventurous, but a week of acclimating, then a shed, then a meal... now he's all settled in.

Khal pretty much stays in his hides. I know he moves because I'll see him in the warm side and hot side. Occasionally he will poke his head out to see what I am doing when I am replacing his water or spot cleaning. I don't believe BP's are really active in general, but it sounds like yours is doing well so congrats!!
