    BP shedding or sick?

im not sure if i posted this in the right place the categories were confusing.

Anyways, Since it has gotten cooler in my apartment I turned on my BP's heating pad which is under his hide. For a few days he never came out of his hide, so I was worried. yesterday when I handled him his body was limp, I got really scared so I thought it was too cold in the tank, so I turned the heat lamp on. Today it looks like he's about to shed (grey looking) and he is less limp but still a bit strange. I read somewhere that when snakes shed they act funny and appear a bit sick. is this notmal? or is there something seriously wrong. I just took him to the vet 1-2 months ago.

What are the temperatures in his enclosure - hot spot, ambient and cool side.
