PROVENT A MITE!! Get a can follow the directions to a T. Also I've seen soak temporarily relieve mites. But it doesn't take care if them. Get the bath water to 88.f and add a drop of dish soap. This will help break the tension of the water so the pests drown. Using PAM you need to wash out your tank, put new bedding in and hides, and spray everything. Allow everything to dry out for awhile, and replace water dish and snake. Do this monthly until mites are gone.

x2 except i used hand soap. there are a few other things you can do but most importantly is be extremely diligent in your efforts. Also make sure you completely change and shower between handling any other reptiles you have. that perhaps is extreme however I say dont take any risks.
I am extremely paranoid of those buggers

I just got rid of mites on a new rescue by soaking in soapy water (she was very small and not healthy at all so I did not want to cause her any more physical stress by using chemicals) I used mild hand soap. The snake was totally isolated and kept in small she tub and that kept in a large tub filled with diatomaceous earth. I cleaned the tub she was in every day and soaked her twice a day for two weeks.
PAM works but there are other options if there is concern about the chemicals.

Soak in warm water and use reptile relief.
