Slit/hole on ball python stomach
I just got this male albino ball python hatchling today and I noticed this small vertical slit/hole on the underside of his belly. It is roughly 2 inches above the tail/cloaca. Havent had snakes for several years but dont ever remember seeing this before. Any ideas?

It's where the umbilical cord was attached. As they grow it will become harder to see until eventually you can't see it any more.
