    probe sets?

Has anybody bought/used this set of probes? I'm trying to find a good set so any insight would be greatly appreciated. Looking for something I can use on hatchlings as well as other, larger snakes.

I've used similar and they worked fine. If I knew where the heck I put them I'd save you some money and send them to you.

I quit probing years ago. To me it's easier to pop them, even the grown snakes. I never had any mishaps probing, I just prefer to pop.

Hey John I've been searching my self and may buy that set you found, I wanted something a bit cheaper or maybe with free shipping though but oh well. Thanks for the find.

I also have not probed in so long that I've forgotten the last time I did it. I also find popping both babies and adults relatively easy.

I've tried popping and I think I'm being too gentle. I need to find someone to show me how to do it properly, I'm afraid if I apply too much pressure I'll cause irrevocable damage. Probing on the other hand seems much more straightforward so a better choice for me since I don't know anybody in the area to show me firsthand how to pop. Thank you all for your input, ideally I'd like to learn both methods so I can double and triple check myself.

Same here with popping, I'm hoping that one of the breeders at the show saturday can show me how.

I've got the exact same set, bought it a couple years ago and have used it on all of my boas - great set and worth it's weight in gold lol.
