    My ball has had the same thing happen. Since it's not affecting him poorly and his humidity is correct I try not to worry. He's never had stuck eye caps, so I assumed the first time I saw it was due to dehydration. Though he still has a "cracked" looking eye. His humidity is consistently around 60%, not getting lower than 55% on a normal day. He's in shed right now so i guess I'm just waiting to see what happens. I'd leave your buddy alone, and if you are afraid of him missing a meal just leave the prekilled or f/t rodent overnight. But I don't stress about them going an extra week.
