My New Guys First Feed Went Great!

I'm not new to snakes and reptiles but new to balls. I've been reading about them being picky eaters and was nervous I'd have issues. Well today was his feeding day and it went great. He took it within seconds and had no problems.

I was also a bit skeptical on the size of this rat but everything went smooth. My wifes adult male also ate great today too.

I've been lurking here and only have a couple posts but definitely have to say thanks to the community. All the stuff I've read here has made it really enjoyable with my venture into ball pythons.

Haha, I'm telling ya. I was nervous about it cause it just seemed too big but it was a tad smaller then his thickest part. He took it like a champ and I'm super glad about that.

I added three new babies to my collection, and I mean they are small..48, 55 and 68 grams! I know the feeling! Two of the three have eaten for me and I was ecstatic. Congratulations and I hope he has many more meals to come.

    Congrats!

    I love feeding pix, but,
That rat looks so unappetizing... maybe its just because I don't eat them. :-)
    Take care!
