Had a clutch pip on day 52 and crawled out on day 55 all healthy and doing well..

Day 52 has been my earliest....

My earliest usually pip on day 54 but this year I had a clutch pip on day 52.

Pipping on day 52 I think was my earliest. I usually start peeking in on them daily on day 55, because the majority seem to pip then.
They say incubation is 60 days, but I'm not sure that's really the average. Based on my experiences, I would say day 57 is the average. I've had eggs go to day 60, and even to day 62, but only very rarely.

well it's weird but a het pied came out today which is day 50 and is perfectly fine so why did the pied die?

Could have been something internally that you couldn't see. Not all things are born able and ready to survive, eager as they may seem. Sorry for your loss.
