    Earliest hatchlings?

    I was wondering what's the earliest anyone has had babies hatched I have two clutches ones on day 53 and one normal is out and two have piped and I have another clutch that's at day 50 and one pied came out but then died so I was just wondering

    Had a clutch pip on day 52 and crawled out on day 55 all healthy and doing well..

    Day 52 was my earliest pippers and they didn't come out till day 54 and 55, all healthy.

    My earliest usually pip on day 54 but this year I had a clutch pip on day 52.

    Pipping on day 52 I think was my earliest. I usually start peeking in on them daily on day 55, because the majority seem to pip then.

    They say incubation is 60 days, but I'm not sure that's really the average. Based on my experiences, I would say day 57 is the average. I've had eggs go to day 60, and even to day 62, but only very rarely.

    well it's weird but a het pied came out today which is day 50 and is perfectly fine so why did the pied die?

    Could have been something internally that you couldn't see. Not all things are born able and ready to survive, eager as they may seem. Sorry for your loss.

    Yea I agree but this one has absorbed it's yoke but the pied hadn't just seems weired
