I think my baby pastel fell asleep on me
First of all he was roaming around his tub and all so i took him out and held him for a bit. Then he was kind of curled around my fingers and not moving, no tongue flicking or anythin. He was like that for a bit and i was even petting him and he like didnt move at all lol. When i went to put him back, i had to like pull him off, he was like glued to me lol but after i was getting him off then he started moving and doing his lil tongue flicking. I thought it was adorable, i love him.

Very cute.
I doubt he was asleep, though...reptiles find petting to be a bit disturbing (after all, they are not animals that express or receive affection, so having something touch them is usually weird rather than soothing for them).

I have a normal female that will wrap herself comfortably around my neck, she doesnt mind a nice light headrub or chinrub. This is the very first bp I got. Shes more like a dog than a ball python.
Shes not like most other ball pythons that will start to breathe like they're having a heart attack when you open their bin or take a hide off them. She really has no fear anymore I guess.

While I agree with the fact that snakes feel or show emotion, I do think there is a trust relationship. I believe that my bp trusts what I'm doing (most of the time) and is attracted to my presence in the room. Whether its heat or vibration.....

I think thats true, but it makes things so much better when you have that lil bond and dont have to worry about them. This lil guy was a lil hisser at my for like the first week or 2 but now i think he's come around and liking me hold him.
