    Help

    so today i went to home depot to get a thermostat for my UTH. but they didnt have the right one.

    does anyone know where i can get a decent one?

    Try Lowes, they have the Accurite for less then I've seen elsewhere.

    you can't use home thermostats for reptiles, you need special ones with a probe. Amazon.com, reptilebasics.com, etc. Ordering online will be your best bet in terms of price and quality, and you absolutely can't go wrong with Rich at ReptileBasics. If you have questions about his products email them or give them a call. His customer service is unbeatable.

    Accurites are thermometers, the OP was referring to a thermostat I believe.

    Agreed, really the only place would be reptile specialty stores (not pet shops) or online.

    Thanks everyone.

    now can anyone recommend a cheap efficient thermostat?. I looked on reptilebasics.com but im not sure which one to get. i have a small heating pad right now. but i also have another larger one for future use.

    so i would need a heating control that will last me a while.

    any comments will be appreciated
