Receiving female that's been paired with male

How's it going everyone? So after selling my small collection some odd months ago, I'm back into ball pythons. I made my first purchase and should receive her sometime next week. She is a normal female over 2000 grams that has been paired with one male this season(not sure how many times or how many locks). Obviously it would be great if she laid this year, and I'd like to get some ideas of anything I can do to help her, and improve my chances of getting a clutch this year.

I was advised to continue feeding her heavily and hopefully she'll go this year. Any other advice?
    Thanks

If after she settles in, and is still eating, feed appropriately sized meals weekly.
There is no need to feed a female oof that size "heavily".
You can palpate her to see if she has follicles, and depending the last time she was with a male, you may have a chance at a clutch

Sounds good, I will feed her normal sized meals. Haha not too good at palpating, Ive seen breeders do it in person, and online but hopefully I'll be able to get the hang of it.
So if the last time she was with a male was awhile ago and she has small/no follicles it's probably not too likely she'll go? And if she does have follicles and they're a decent size, my chances are better?

They can store sperm, so ya never know. I wear a satin type glove when palpating now, boy what a difference the glove makes.

Once you learn how to palpate, it's pretty easy to tell. Ralph Davis has some you tube videos, on how to palpate.

Sounds good, well we'll see if I can feel any follicles after she settles in.
