    question about my BPs feces

I am a new python owner and I have had my BP for about 3 weeks. I was out of town for 1 1/2 days and I came home to find two round substances in the tank. One was light green with white on the edge and one was white. The BP has eaten twice (frozen pinkies) since I've had it and I feed on Mondays. I am active with checking the tank for anything other than substrate and this is the first time I have found anything.

I am unsure if this is normal (considering green poop isnt ever normal most of the time). I want to know what what be causing this, or if I am digging too deeply into something. Anubis (my BP) is getting ready to shed and I am unsure if this has anything to do with it.

Thank you all so much for any assistance!!

    Sincerely- Stephie

It sounds normal but you really should be feeding items larger than pinkies. Baby ball pythons can eat small adult mice.

    Regards,

Sounds like poo and urates (which is like solid urine...the white substance). I suggest larger prey as well.

    thank you!

You guys are quick! I am glad that things are good then

I figured pinkies weren't enough (Anubis ate all three of them), I was going to move to larger prey starting this Monday. That was what the pet store had been feeding so I kept with their plan until I got solid advice (thank you!)

I am so happy I ran across this site! I look forward to learning from you all

    Thank you again!
