He is afraid of mice...
My pin is afraid of adult mice and wouldn't touch them for the last 3 weeks. He was eating them fine before. I don't know what clicked in his little brain but, when he sees a live adult mouse now, he flees for the safety of his hide.
I tried a different method last night. I left a fresh killed mouse in a tiny paper bag in his tub overnight. In the morning it was gone. So his 3 week fast is over which is a relief.
I don't feel good about killing the mouse myself. I feel guilty... Like I did something bad... But, I know it had to be done for the snake's survival.
Next time I will put a frozen/thawed mouse in a bag for him.

Sometimes my BPs prefere a f/t or p/k left on the hot spot in the cage and they will just eat them themselves...no "zombie dance" required!
Glad to hear hes eating again for you!

Thanks! I was letting him explore my pool table when I took that photo. He seemed to enjoy going down the pockets.
