Well, I got a new girl

As some of you know, about a month ago, my girl Chloe escaped her cage and has been missing ever since. I had planned to breed her to Alex (my pastel) this coming season. So this past weekend I noticed a nice size female at the store I get feeders from. So for the past few days I had been steadily thinking about getting her. Yesterday, it took up half my day just thinking about it. So last night I talked with my wife about it and she was fine with it. So we went to the store and I talked to the manager who knows I come in there every week and he gave me a substantial discount. I ended up paying $119 + tax. I did look around online but the cheapest I found a breeding sized female was $200.

My wife and I have already fallen in love with her. She has a super sweet disposition. Very explorative compared to Chloe. Of course that could just be from her being in a new place. We are calling her Sam; short for Samantha.

I know she's not Chloe but it does feel better to have another girl again. I still hope that one day she'll crawl up out of nowhere and surprise us but I am not counting on it.

I'll post pics tonight if I can.

Congrats on the new pick-up and sorry to hear about Chloe!

On a side note...I paid about $50-$75 for all of my breeder sized normal females. As long as you like her though!

Re: Well, I got a new girl

OK so the store manager gives me some more info on this girl. Apparently this girl has produced before. They got her from a local breeder that was shedding some excess stock. I took a closer look at her rear area and it does appear to be the case. It's somewhat concave down there. Not the flatness I see in videos but still concave. Chloe never looked or felt like that.

I took some pics at lunch and asked my wife to email them to me so I could post then here. We'll see what happens.

Re: Well, I got a new girl

    So here's some pics:

Belly shots. A bit blurry for some reason. Couldn't get a good shot. There's some sort of faint line down the middle toward the end. Not sure if you can see it. Any idea what that is?

And here's an older picture of Alex my gargantuan pastel I hope to breed her to this season.
