Handling question

How often should I be handling him? Without stressing him out? If i do stress him out what are some signs that I can observe? I never really thought about it before but now the questions comes up. He's been eating fine, just started to transition him from live to f/t food. Active at night etc all in all a better snake than i deserve i think haha.

None of those pictures worked, I suggest using the IMG code. As far as handling, it really depends on the snakes personality. I have some that can't handle being held for more than 10 minutes at a time before they start getting stressed, and I have some that I could take out for hours if I wanted to. I'd start small and work your way up. I handle mine daily with no issue, but as I said some are only for a very short period of time. Signs of stress would be roaming during the day and any other "out of context" behavior that he doesn't normally do.

I try to hold mine as much as I can mostly in the evening hours. They let me know when they are tired of me holding them. They start to move a little faster looking for a place to go. Funny when I put them back in there tubs they will get in their hides at record speed Most of the time they will poke their heads out as if to say "Thanks"

Personally, i handle every day UNLESS they are in a shed cycle and 2 days post feeding. When i got my first BP, she would hiss at me the first few times i tried to get her out of her tank, but i took her out anyway. Now, at night i take her out, handle her for about an hour.
Now my baby pied i handle every night as well. They can sense fear, so just stay calm and ENJOY!
