Another new rescue.
Well, a friend of mine found this crawling through there front yard last night. When they called me to see if I wanted it, it had been in a rubbermaid bin in there front yard in direct sunlight since this morning. I can't wait to see if it's male or female.

Very pretty normal! Congrats!! I'm glad he/she found a good home and didn't crawl through the wrong yard  I'm sure a lot of other people would have freaked out and possibly harmed the snake... I wonder if the owner is around looking for it.

They may be looking for it, I'll keep my ear to the ground. How ever, in the mean time, I'll nurse it back to health, she is underweight and dehydrated. I'm also going to administer a round of dewormer just asa precaution.

Wow.. I bet someone is freaking out right now looking for their escaped Ball Python.  I wonder how it got out of someones home.. hopefully it wasn't released on purpose.

Right now she is 4 ft long and weighs 1360 gms. She should be closer to 1900 grams at that length. I think shehas been wandering for quite some time. As soon as I got her in her new tank she fed on a small rat. I plan to start her off small then work up to bigger food so as not to stress her system too much. If anybody has any other advice on how to get this girl back in shape please chime in.

lucky i wish a bp would just cral up to my door blah good luck get her healty sounds at that lenght to be a female
