    Columbia, S.C Repticon

Ok, so I went to my first Repticon today with my daughter and we had a GREAT time there. Lots of beautiful animals there. Well, I kept on sending these great pics to my wife (who isn't keen on snakes by the way). Well, after a little bit of bugging and her just spoiling me, she agreed to let me get this little pastel (male). The dude sold him to me for $75! So now I have one and my daughter has one. I feel like an idiot because when my wife ended up being ok with it, I grabbbed him and headed home ASAP before she changed her mind so i didn't ask any questions to the guy that sold him to me. I got his tub all setup and quickly weighted him and snapped some photos. He weighs 100g and he has a really nice yellow to him. My daughter and I realized that we needed to name them something that matched each other (you know like Bonnie and Clyde or Starcky and Hutch) and, both of us being big time Star Wars nerds, she will probably change her's from Monty to Jango and I will name mine Boba. Not sure on the names but that is where we are leaning. Now the suck of having to wait a week to leave him alone and feed. I am really excited and want to check him out but I will be patient for now. My wife has been reall great about it. I was totally expecting to come home empty handed but instead i got this little guy.

Thanks for reading my mumbles and checking him out.

Ok, so we are now thinking about naming them R2 and 3PO (of course my new guy would be 3PO since he is golden )...whew...if my daughter didn't insist I wouldn't name them at all and just refer to them as normal and pastel

I was actually looking for a Mice Direct booth there but couldn't find it. One of those dudes was selling a really friendly normal (I think he said she was about 5 years old) for like $35 but I like starting these guys small and watching them grow. Did you get any pics with that nile at the front door?
