    Starting a Rats Army

I been keeping snakes for 5 years, breeding my own rats and mice.
Well, me and a few reptiles enthusiasts friends of mine decided to joint venture to start up a a real breeding facilities.

Roughly the plan will be by purchasing 1000females and 200 males into my warehouse for each week for 12 weeks.
Means, I will stop purchasing once I have reach 12000 females and 2400 males.

Demand and supply of food and rodents are already taken control of.

What I'm worry is the cycle production process that will be much complex compare to just breeding 50 rats.

Any key ideas that I should take into consideration ? thanks !
Kindly visit my blog for a overview of what animals I keep

My only advice is: Don't grow too quickly. You will be amazed at the amount of money you have to spend, just to keep them fed and clean.
Since you obviously already breed, you know this, but when you get into the thousands in population, you literally go through tons of feed per month.
And, even though you may have some clients lined up, never depend on them coming through. A pet store that says they need xxx amount per week, rarely sticks to their order...

Good luck! and happy cleaning, since that's all your life will be about soon!

    Wow

That's a big jump fairly quick, I was having trouble with my rotation in just a 20ft x 20ft room. Whatever you find out or any advice that works for you please let us know if it's not a huge secret you would be willing to part with
