You can feed them once a week, at least offer once a week. Ball pythons are known to be picky, I always have at least one that doesn't eat, so I don't think it's that your feeding too often. If you want to measure the meals in grams I think they can eat 10% of their body weight. So your 700 gram snake could eat a 70 gram rat, give or take a little. I usually go by size. If the rat looks a little larger than the thickest part of their body, they can eat it, once a week. I have a girl who doesn't eat rats, so for your extra picky ones you could weigh multiple mice to add up to 10% of their body weight.

I offer 1 small rat per week. I really dont go much larger than small rats or equal to that if you have a mouser.

I usually feed my growing ball pythons once a week. I feed them a food item a little larger around than the snake is. My breeding females i feed every 14 days, and i feed them as large as they'll take.

It's a matter of temperament. Just avoid powerfeeding your bp's

Gotta agree with what the others have said. Pick a rat thats about 1 to 1 1/2 times as big around as the fattest part of your snakes. Once a week is fine. Balls can be picky, so if they skip a meal, its not a big deal. A healthy ball can go many months without feeding and barely lose any weight.
