Weather and Shipping
I am in Virginia and he weather can be all over the place sometimes. I'm about to go through all those hoops to get certified to ship reptiles and I was thinking about how weather plays a part in when you ship. So for all of you out there, what are your minimum and maximum temperatures that you are willing to ship? And what weather conditions (rain, thunderstorms, extreme weather such as heat waves, hurricanes, etc) will you not ship in?

We outline weather conditions and such in our Get Help section at ShipYourReptiles.com. General guidelines are above 45F and below 88F, that is typically a safe shipping window. Always be cautious when there is extreme weather like hurricanes, heat waves or blizzards.
You also don't need to be individually certified to ship through the site. You do have to follow our SYR Shipping Standards and guidelines.
We recently launched our Live Arrival Insurance program as well, a first in the industry. Check it out, let me know if you have any questions.
