Our cat Jade loves my Vincent

Over the past couple of days our oldest cat Jade has been watching Vincent like crazy and has really taken a liking to him. He's been constantly looking in Vincent's cage, and has even gone as far as to actually scent him. I can't wait until Vincent gets bigger, it'll be hilarious. The annoying laughter in the background is me, the woman is my mother Jacquie and the guy is her fiance Ben. Enjoy.

That's why we keep a watchful eye on Jade when he's around Vincent, just to be safe and all.

^^ ditto. He's just interested. Be careful. There was just another post from someone who let the cat and the bp hang in the same room and the cat swatted the bp's eye and caused injury.

Both of our cats are declawed in the front so I'm not terribly worried about that, I'm mainly worried about them trying to bite Vincent or something. But that's why I watch them constantly if the cats are near him. Thanks for the advice though. ^^

I think it's sorta cute when animals do that, although I keep my cats away from my Betta fish. I have two males, one is a veil tail and one is a double veil tale. I want to add a halfmoon male to my collection as well, they're such awesome fish.

I do not let my cats anywhere near my ball pythons. Predator and prey from both sides. Either the cat will bite the snake, or one day, one of the snakes will mistake the curious paw for prey and then strike and constrict - and then it won't be so funny.

I know it seems cute, but it's really not safe for either of them.

I completely agree, there is too much chance for something to go wrong. Your cat looked very ready to eat your snake. Animals can be very unpredicatable, and as cute as it is to watch, you're taking an unnecessary risk with your snake and your cat.
