Re: Possibly A Yellowbelly Bp?
She's looking like a yellowbelly to me almost for sure! Lucky pickup! As was said, the belly markers aren't as strong as on some other yellow bellies, but they are there, and coupled with her nice flames and coloration I'm confident that you found a little yellow belly girl

NOW MY NEXT QUESTION IS
if i breed Tangerine to another yellowbelly and she proves out i should get a mix of yellowbelly, normal, and a chance of an ivory or 2 depending on the clutch size
am i right???? i read that all yellowbellys are ivory hets but is that true

You got it!
Now... the word "het" is short for heterozygous, which means that out of the two sets of genes that every animal has, it carries one mutated gene. So, in theory, yellowbellies are het (heterozygous) for ivory, which is the "super" or homozygous (meaning it has both mutated genes) form.

For a fact a yellowbelly is a visual het for an Ivory, it's not just a theory

25% normal, 50% yellowbelly and 25% Ivory are the per egg chances breeding yellowbely X yellowbelly.
