    Need a little help.

As the title says I need a little help to see if Im going to have the correct set up for my ball python when I get it after I get the enclosure and everything else made and get the temps and humidity correct. The snake will be a year old

    36/24/12 enclosure
    Coconut Husk substrate

Ill get another one from Walmart
    Accurite Hygrometer from Walmart
    Water bowl: http://www.herpsupplies.com/product....641&id=SCC1051
    2 of these hides: http://www.herpsupplies.com/product....524&id=SCC1210

    http://www.herpsupplies.com/product....8825&id=ZMBU19
Heat Mat: Either FlexWatt or UltraTherm heat mat.

What do you all think? Would this be just fine for my soon to be new friend?

I know I'm going to get some people saying that for a year old BP a 36'' long cage is too big. That is why Im going to try and fill it with a bunch of items so it feels more secure.

The skull and head pieces probably won't get much use, but I think it will help.

Just more of a decor than anything else. Trying to fill the cage up so he/she doesn't feel stressed. When he/she gets older Ill take some of the things out.

    Re: Need a little help.

Sounds good to me. Like you said, the enclosure size does sound a little big for a young bp, but it's good that you're going to try and fill it up. Fake plastic/silk plants from the dollar store work the best for that. Also, I'm not sure what kind of enclosure it is, but if it's a tank you could always cover the back and sides with dark construction paper or con-tact paper to make it more secure. Or even make a temporary divider from plexiglass to create a smaller area inside of the big cage.

Everything else sounds good though. Seems like you've done your homework!

Anyone know a damn good plastic/acrylic caging company. I do not want a rack system as I will only have 1 Ball Python. Well at least for awhile. But a company that DOESN'T use PayPal.

Reason being for not using PayPal is because I have spent the last 2 hours working with PayPal in order to pay for a cage I would of liked but since PayPal doesn't want to use my debit card, even though I have the money in my account, I have to go to a different company that doesn't use PayPal to secure the money.

    Thanks for your responses.
