Talking 1st feeding for me and my Ball Python

Hi guys, in "introduction" section of the forum I said that I'll try to feed my new baby BP today for the first time (his in my care and mine feeding snakes), I was very anxious b/c I've heard stories that some don't want to eat when moved in strange new environment, etc..
    Well I tried,
I thawed a fuzzy, warmed it up in warm water and tried to feed Kundalini (my BP) and at first he didn't seem interested, so I dangled that fuzzy in front of him for another 10 seconds, than he started working his tongue, and than BAM, he nailed it!!!
I was so happy, so I took few pics of his first "kill" in my care!

    Here are pics:

I took these pics seconds after he nailed that sucker!
I hope you enjoyed, and leave a comment if you wish.

Thanks for the welcome, and for checking in on my BP!
So this big of a prey is a good size for him this big?
It did looked to me like he took it with an ease.

While you might be able to go a little bigger, you're not at the point where it's too small, and sometimes sticking to the smaller end of appropriate size is better for first feedings. I wouldn't stock up on that size too much though as you'll probably be up to a bigger size before long.
