Question Same old question, with a twist....! PLEASE HELP!

Ok, so I bought a good size female Mohave about a month ago. She eats like a champ and is tremendously tame. My issue is that she lives in her water bowl! I have checked this snake dozens of times for mites and have never found a single mite. The temps are perfect, 80 on one side, 92 on hot side and ambient of 85 and the humidity is 60-70%. She is spending at least 8 hours a day in the XL Corner dish I have for her and I'm getting worried she's going to get too cold or get an infection from being in the water too long. I do have two hides in the enclosure, one hot and one cool so I am clueless as to why she is always in there. Any ideas/help would be appreciated greatly! Joe

Some bps really like to soak. If you know your husbandry is correct, you have checked for mites, and she is eating and shedding well I don't think you have anything to worry about.

She definetely doesn't have to poop! She is very successful at that, lol. What do you mean by building? Thanks

Has she bred with any males? Sometimes female will soak soak soak after breeding when they are "building" eggs.

How big is your mojave girl?
I have a soaking yellowbelly female this morning but I know why she's soaking, she's building follicles
After an extended visit in the water bowl make sure to double check for mites in the water, they are easier to find there than on the snake.
If she's large enough to grow follicles then that's might be your answer

Did some research on when I bought her and it was exactly one month ago today. She has not had any contact with my male since I brought her home so does this rule out my timeline? Sorry, fairly new to the whole breeding topic. Thanks everyone!

No it definitely does not rule it out as far as I know. Was she with a male before you got her?

I have no clue?!?!?! She was taken in on trade at an exotic pet store here in Vegas and they hadn't even had her 24 hours before I saw and bought her. I don't really know the time lines for laying eggs so any idea when I should be expecting the shed before laying?
